Spanish Materials:
- reflect the grammatical structures, discourse, and literary traditions of the Spanish-speaking world.

- include and integrate Spanish language varieties and cultures.

Spanish Literacy: Foundational to Advanced
Spanish Materials:
- embed oral language activities in literacy lessons, from initial stages to advanced.
- follow authentic Spanish literacy instruction and provide guidance for teachers.

Linguistically Inclusive Assessments
Spanish Materials:
- provide teachers guidance and understanding around assessment of content learning, language development, and biliteracy development, and how to distinguish between them.
