California’s upcoming ELA, ELD, and Spanish Language Arts (SLA) adoption offers a 10-year opportunity to improve outcomes for Multilingual Learners (MLLs). Despite 94% of education leaders prioritizing MLL-responsive curricula, many face challenges navigating this process, especially in support of MLLs.

This first session in our 3-part series helps education leaders move beyond compliance. ELSF has spent years partnering with California districts and ounty offices, from Fresno County, OCDE, SDCOE to systems across the state, to evaluate, select, and implement materials that center MLLs. This session opens our three-part series with the people who have done that work alongside districts statewide.
