Grounded in the ELSF Guidelines for Instructional Materials and their foundational research, these Do’s and Don’ts provide curriculum developers and EdTech product teams with an immediate starting point for responsible innovation. Based on our current work with curriculum developers and EdTech product teams, they address some of the most frequent questions and uses of AI in MLL-inclusive instructional materials.

As the field evolves, ELSF will continue to release guidance so the needs of MLLs are part of the evolving landscape of AI-related materials, and not an afterthought.
