Faith Kwon

Doctoral student, Stanford University

Faith (she/her) is a doctoral student at Stanford University studying Race, Inequality, and Language in Education (RILE) and Curriculum and Teacher Education (CTE). Her research interests include how young learners engage in authentic mathematics collaboration and how to support and retain teachers of Color with intersectional justice commitments. At Stanford, Faith is also engaged in research with the Stanford Identity, Engagement, and Learning Lab (StIELL) and with the Center to Support Excellence in Teaching (CSET). Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she served as a district professional developer, instructional coach, and primary grades teacher for Ravenswood City School District in East Palo Alto, CA. In her spare time, Faith fosters kittens for rescue organizations in Oakland and reads Young Adult Fiction.
