Nikeitha served as the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction for a charter school network in the Washington DC area. She brings a divergent background in education working in various states and school models located in Texas, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. For the last 11 years she has been devoted to ensuring marginalized populations gain access to high-quality learning experiences each day. She received her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and specializes in mathematics education for elementary and middle school learning. As a student advocate, her work has been grounded in the mission to create better thinkers and problem solvers in a collaborative climate of joy and rigor. Nikeitha has served in several roles to carry out this mission such as math teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. She continues to focus on improving the instructional core—student-teacher-content—by accelerating the effectiveness of teachers and teacher leaders along with designing innovative programming to meet the holistic needs of the 21st century learner.
